Facing the iconic Ubud Water Palace, The Café Lotus Ubud at Puri Saraswati Dijiwa Ubud introduces Bale Lesehan and the Rooftop, two new dining spaces offering fresh ways to experience Ubud’s culture and surroundings.
Inspired by the Indonesian tradition of lesehan, Bale Lesehan features comfortable floor seating around a low table. Set within a traditional Balinese bale, it serves the Lotus Royal Rijsttafel, featuring Balinese and Indonesian flavours.
The Rooftop offers views of the lotus pond and Ubud Water Palace from above. With 30 seats, it presents Indonesian cuisine and drinks alongside traditional Balinese dance performances held every evening except Friday.
Since 1983, The Café Lotus has brought dining and Ubud’s cultural life together.
