A Slow Pour, a Good Smoke, a Little Jazz

Some evenings are best measured in slow pours, good conversation, and music that asks nothing of you. On 25 September 2026, Pullman Bali Legian Beach brings those elements together at Ember & Oaks.

A Meeting of Indonesian Craft

At the centre of the evening is Keris Single Malt Whisky, inspired by the traditional Indonesian keris. Keris matures for five years in American oak before finishing in Oloroso sherry casks. The whisky carries a notable local and international record. In 2024, MURI recognised Keris as Indonesia’s first single malt whisky. Then, in 2025, it received four Gold Medals at international spirits competitions.

Alongside the whisky, Pranada Cigar introduces the craft of hand-rolled Javano cigars. Guests can roll their own cigar using Indonesian tobacco, from filler and binder through to the wrapper. Javano brings notes of black coffee, dark chocolate, toffee, roasted peanuts, earth, and black pepper. Paired with Keris, the experience offers two distinctly Indonesian expressions of craftsmanship.

An Evening at an Unhurried Pace

Meanwhile, curated canapés and live jazz provide the setting for an evening built around conversation and discovery. Ember & Oaks runs from 6.30pm to 9.30pm at Pullman Temple.

The experience costs IDR 400,000 nett per person and includes whisky, cigar rolling, canapés, and live jazz. ALL – Accor Live Limitless members staying at the hotel can also redeem 1,000 reward points during the event.
