Wellness in Bali need not mean retreating from the world. Sometimes, it simply means making room to pause, breathe, move, and reconnect.
From 18–20 September 2026, The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali marks World Wellness Weekend with three days of restorative experiences. Guided by Wellness Ambassador Dr. Jitendra Pokhriyal, the programme explores movement, nourishment, recovery, sound healing, and Balinese tradition.
A Gentle Beginning
The weekend begins on Friday with a complimentary DIY Wellness Ritual at the Wellness Arcade from 11am.
Here, natural wellness, hydration, and nourishment offer an easy introduction to the weekend. Rather than demanding a complete reset, the experience invites guests to begin with something simpler. A little hydration. A little nourishment. And perhaps, a little more attention to how the body feels.

Move, Breathe, Recover
On Saturday afternoon, the focus shifts towards movement and recovery. From 3pm, Tabata & Herbal Ice Bath combines energetic exercise with breathwork and a restorative herbal ice bath. The complimentary session takes place at the Westin Beach Workout. Together, the two practices create an interesting contrast. First comes movement and exertion; then comes the quiet discipline of recovery.

Sunday, Served with a Side of Stillness
Sunday brings the weekend together through sound, food, and an ancient Balinese ritual.
From 11am to noon, Dr. Jitendra Pokhriyal leads a sound healing session at the Wellness Studio. The morning offers a quieter moment before the day moves towards the table.
From 12:30pm to 4pm, Prego serves a wellness brunch by Chef Michele Antonucci. Italian culinary traditions meet a more mindful approach to nourishment, accompanied by a wellness-inspired à la carte selection.
Then, from 2pm to 3pm, guests can explore Boreh making with Heavenly Spa by Westin™. The traditional Balinese ritual allows participants to create their own herbal paste.

Making Space to Feel Well
The idea behind the weekend is perhaps best captured by General Manager Arun Kumar.
“Wellness does not have to mean doing more.”
Instead, the programme creates space for different ways of feeling well, from movement and recovery to mindful eating and cultural ritual.
World Wellness Weekend reflects a broader approach to wellbeing at The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali. Its wellness offering extends from Heavenly Spa by Westin™ to movement experiences and mindful culinary moments. Ultimately, the weekend offers no single definition of wellness. It simply leaves room for guests to discover what feeling well means to them.
