Four Seasons Resort Bali at Jimbaran Bay introduces Quiet Cinema at Jimbaran Bay, a relaxed beachfront movie experience at the secluded Coconut Grove. Running every Sunday and Monday from 13 September to 9 November 2026, it combines sunset views, dining and classic films beneath the stars.
The experience begins at 6:00 pm with a Sunset Lounge, where guests can choose bean bags, sun beds or armchair sofas while enjoying a welcome drink. At 7:00 pm, the movie begins with full in-seat service, complimentary soft drinks, juice and regular popcorn refills.
Instead of traditional loudspeakers, CineWav streams the film soundtrack directly to guests’ mobile phones. Guests can then listen through their own earphones, creating a more intimate viewing experience.
On Sundays, the programme leans towards easygoing films for families and friends. Titles such as Mamma Mia! and The Greatest Showman bring a familiar sense of fun to the evening. Meanwhile, Mondays take a more romantic turn with films such as The Notebook. The experience can also extend beyond the screen, with a selection of comfort-food favourites.
Guests can enjoy lobster rolls, coconut crab nachos, Korean-style fried chicken, and truffle parmesan fries. For a nostalgic touch, a candy shop and ice cream cart bring back memories of classic cinema treats.
Alternatively, the Movie Picnic offers a more celebratory way to settle in. With good food, familiar films, and an open-air setting, the evening becomes part cinema and part social occasion.
