Arkamara Dijiwa Ubud Marks Eight Years with a Powerful Celebration of Nature, Sustainability, and Balinese Values

Arkamara Dijiwa Ubud celebrated its eighth anniversary with “Palemahan: Plogging & Bird Release” on 8 August 2026. The activity brought together the resort’s owner, Dijiwa Sanctuaries’ leaders, General Manager, and team members for a meaningful environmental celebration.

Inspired by Palemahan, one of the three principles of Tri Hita Karana, the initiative highlighted harmony between people and nature. It reflected Arkamara Dijiwa Ubud’s commitment to environmental responsibility and supporting a more sustainable community through meaningful action.

Eight birds from different species were released into their natural habitat, symbolizing the resort’s eight-year journey, freedom, and renewal. The celebration continued with plogging, as participants collected plastic waste and litter around the resort and surrounding streets.

The activity added a sustainability focus to the anniversary, encouraging awareness of waste management and environmental care. Through ongoing initiatives, Arkamara Dijiwa Ubud continues its journey toward responsible hospitality, protecting nature, reducing environmental impact, and creating positive contributions to the local community.
