Hamabe Japanese Restaurant at The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali Hosts Exclusive Omakase Takeover with Takumi Bali

Hamabe Japanese Restaurant at The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali will host an exclusive Omakase Takeover by Takumi Bali on 16 and 17 October 2026. Chef Daijiro Horikoshi will present a specially curated 16-course menu, highlighting seasonal ingredients, Japanese techniques, and contemporary culinary craftsmanship.

Chef Daijiro joins Dede, Head Bartender at The Bar by Takumi Bali, for a two-night culinary collaboration. Together, they introduce four bespoke cocktails to complement selected courses, balancing Japanese flavours, textures and aromas. Through this thoughtful interplay, the experience celebrates omotenashi, Japan’s art of wholehearted hospitality.

The 16-course omakase features seasonal bites and premium ingredients from Japan and Indonesia. Highlights include Balinese Black Chicken Chawanmushi, Hokkaido Hotate with Bedugul strawberry, Maguro Akami and Toro, Foie Gras with miso, Ebi Katsu in house-made shokupan, and Aburi Wagyu Nigiri. The experience ends with Takumi-style Shirokuma, Nama Chocolate, and hot sencha.

Set within The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali, Hamabe presents Teppanyaki, Robata, Omakase and Shabu Shabu in an intimate setting. The Omakase Takeover costs IDR 1,300,000++ per person for the menu, or IDR 1,400,000++ with cocktail pairings. With only 16 seats each evening, reserve your place via email or WhatsApp.
