At The Meru Sanur & Bali Beach Hotel, The Heritage Collection history takes a quieter form through Heroes, Gods & Guardians. Opening on 11 September 2026, the exhibition brings together sacred masks, Lontar manuscripts, and regional artefacts from across Indonesia.
Dating from the 18th to 20th centuries, the masks originate from Bali, Java, and Lombok. Meanwhile, Lontar palm-leaf manuscripts offer glimpses into Indonesia’s spiritual and intellectual traditions.
Together, these objects reveal how art, belief, and storytelling have travelled across generations. More than a collection, the exhibition offers a thoughtful encounter with Indonesia’s enduring cultural heritage.
